Open To Help, As Much as we can

The Cedars Hotel is open for Key Workers and individuals with exceptional circumstances only. Proof will be required upon arrival.
The bar and restaurant are closed and all functions have been postponed. We will still be offering room service and breakfast however.

Billie’s Burger Shack is still open for takeaways and deliveries through our usual restaurant partners.

Open as usual

Dear All,

We have had a number of enquiries asking whether the hotel is open for accommodation, funerals, breakfast, dinner.

As things currently stand we are definitely open for accommodation and this will NOT change unless we are forced to by the government. The recent announcement closing bars etc DOES NOT INCLUDE HOTELS.

We are still serving breakfast and this is now continental. The bar is serving to hotel residents.

We are still continuing with our funeral bookings and taking reservations unless and until we are forced to do otherwise.

We are offering room service for dinner, takeaways, and deliveries, and can serve dinner if guests require although the last part may change depending upon government advice.

Please convey this with full optimism, enthusiasm and confidence and remind anyone asking that we are taking extra special measures to ensure safety, and info can be found on our website (please check for yourselves so you also know   )

We will continue as near to normal as possible unless otherwise demanded. We will let you know immediately of any changes as and when they happen.

As always, please ask if you have any questions.

COVID-19 Update

In order to maximise the safety of our guests, staff, and visitors during the current Covid-19 situation, we are taking the following steps:

We are sanitising bedroom keys on a daily basis

Our public areas are sanitised three times a day, paying careful attention to any items or areas with a higher likelihood of passing on the virus (door handles, backs of chairs, bar and reception tops etc)

We are paying extra care to sanitise our public toilets

We are paying even more attention than usual to sanitise all kitchen areas and surfaces

Our housekeeping team are equipped with disposable gloves which they change between cleaning each room

Our waiting team are equipped with disposable gloves when serving buffets and clearing these away

We are placing our tables further apart than usual in order to facilitate social distancing

And of course thorough and regular washing of hands by all members of our team

We thank you for your continued custom and would like you to rest assured that we are doing all we can to ensure your ongoing safety at this difficult time.
